Accessibility
Effective date: September 7, 2026
Our commitment
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we have done
- Checked every text and background pairing against the required contrast ratios and adjusted the palette where it fell short
- Made every button, link, and form field reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- Given every form field a real label, not just placeholder text
- Added a skip-to-content link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation
- Written descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and marked decorative ones so screen readers skip them
- Honoured the operating system's reduced-motion setting, so animations do not play for visitors who have asked to limit motion
We have deliberately not installed an accessibility overlay widget. Overlays tend to mask problems rather than fix them, and they are not a substitute for accessible markup.
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing rather than finished. If you find something that does not work for you, we want to know, and we will treat it as a bug rather than a suggestion.
Tell us about a barrier
Email hello@gritandgracewellness.com and describe what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We will work with you to provide the information or service in another accessible way.
